Audac POW 2 is an optional power amplifier kit that can be installed inside the digital audio matrix enclosures R2 and M2.
In its standard configuration, R2 or M2 is equipped with 8 line-level output channels to which the corresponding amplifiers can be connected, depending on the power required for the specific application. For certain applications where high power capabilities are not necessary, the optional power amplifier kit can be installed, resulting in a multifunctional matrix and a power amplifier combined in a single enclosure.

POW2 consists of a class D amplifier with 16 channels (8 stereo channels), providing 60 watts of power per channel at 4 Ohm. In bridge mode, an output power of 8 x 120 Watts at 8 Ohm can be achieved. It features an advanced protection circuit that safeguards against malfunctioning due to DC current, short circuits, overheating, and overload, while a large heatsink and a temperature-controlled ventilation fan ensure the continuous maintenance of an appropriate operating temperature.
The POW2 power amplifier kit includes the power amplifier module, a switching power supply, and all necessary connection and installation accessories for the correct installation of the kit within the R2 or M2 enclosure. Note: POW2 replaces the older model R2POW, which offered comparable functionality and performance.
