ADC ToneX CAPTURE - The perfect partner for tone modelling and reamping all-in-one.
Features:
Three accessories in one: Tone Modelling, amplifier recording, and reamping
Connect the audio interface to amplifiers and cabinets with the correct signal level
Capture your amplifier's pre-cabinet tone without needing microphones or load boxes
Ground isolation and galvanic isolation eliminate hum and noise
Ideal for capturing tone models, also the perfect tool for reamping
Comes with TONEX SE (includes 200 tone models)
TONEX Capture is an all-in-one accessory that facilitates the perfect capture of your amplifier's true tone, with or without microphones. It is the ideal way to model your equipment using the TONEX software, as well as the perfect reamping device.
There are two separate gain stages that allow you to adjust levels to and from the amplifier.
First, TONEX Capture connects to your audio interface's output and allows you to send that signal to the amplifier at the correct level using the left attenuation control.
Secondly, TONEX Capture connects to the amplifier's line output (a speaker must be connected) or the pedal output and allows you to send that signal to your interface at the right level using the correct attenuation control.
The end result is a perfect copy of your amplifier's true tone, ready for TONEX modelling or any other use you can imagine.
Record Your Platform, Your Way
TONEX Capture gives you the freedom to capture your equipment in any way you want. Connect your amplifier, combo, or pedal to the audio interface and use the TONEX Machine Modelling software to create a high-quality tone model of your platform that you can use anywhere.
Direct Amplifier
TONEX Capture allows you to feed your amplifier exactly the correct signal using the left attenuation control.
The TONEX Capture "From Amplifier" circuit takes a copy of the amplifier's direct output and safely sends it back to the audio interface's input.
Directly capturing the signal means you can record anywhere, without microphones or sound isolation. You can use TONEX's VIR™ technology and AmpliTube to access hundreds of ultra-authentic virtual cabinets and IR to complement your tone.
Amp + Cab
Do you have access to a nice collection of microphones and a recording space? You can also use TONEX Capture to capture the sound, including the cabinet.
Connect TONEX Capture to the amplifier and the audio interface as usual
Microphone your cabinet as you prefer, using the interface or standalone microphone preamps
Capture the exact tone of your platform without sacrificing flexibility. TONEX's AI machine modelling is so advanced that it can even remove the sound of the cabinet after the fact, allowing you to audition other cabinets and microphones to see how they enhance your tone.
Amp + Cab Plus Direct
The best of both worlds. Connect both the direct amplifier and the amp + cab for maximum freedom to build the best guitar or bass tone.
Use both TO AMP and FROM AMP circuits, plus the microphone in the cabinet
TONEX software can capture either mic signal or direct signal for tone modelling
Since Capture's FROM AMP circuit is totally passive, it will not affect the amplifier's load in any way nor will it colour your tone.
Pedals
TONEX Capture makes it easy to tone your modelling pedals or simply route recordings through the pedal collection for analogue colour and warmth.
Connect your audio interface to a pedal using Capture's TO AMP circuit
Send the pedal back to your interface's instrument input
It's that simple!
Download and Share Your Favourite Tones
TONEX Capture includes access to ToneNET, allowing you to upload your favourite tones and download unlimited free tones from other users worldwide.
For additional inspiration, it also includes 200 Premium Tone Model downloads and free access to user-generated Tone models.
