LD Systems MAUI 44 G2, professional audio system of the vertical column type with 1500W RMS amplification and frequency response of 37 Hz -20 kHz, capable of a sound pressure level of 132 dB peak. Due to its exceptional sonic quality and multiple functions, this system is ideal for rental companies, musicians, small clubs, street festivals, and permanent installations.

The cardioid characteristic of the columns and the ability to create cardioid bass (with an additional subwoofer) offer multiple possible configurations and highlight the professional nature of this system. The column has a rear attenuation of 18 dB, and the subwoofer has 15dB.

The column consists of two modules with 12 x 3.5" full-range speakers with neodymium magnets and 4 x 0.5" high-frequency drivers with waveguide cones. The phase plugs mounted on the 6 upper speakers improve horizontal directivity, reduce distortion, and optimize sensitivity below the crossover level of the tweeters. Additionally, the 4 tweeters have specially optimized compression drivers coupled to cones with constant directivity that provide horizontal coverage of 120° and focused vertical coverage of 25°. The curved design of the cones transports more high-frequency energy to the audience further away.

In the case of permanent installations or conference applications, the TrueWireless™ stereo function allows the connection of two systems, wirelessly for stereo playback. The Bluetooth receiver supports aptX™ and AAC Codec, while the integrated DynX® DSP avoids distortion even at high sound pressure levels.
