simple and efficient model that adapts to the neck of each guitar, classical or electric, I have no idea about bass. the safety ring is nice. I bought three and one was missing that ring but the guys sent me one as a replacement. anyway, if you lose it, there's a green gasket on the stand that you can use for the same purpose... it's wonderful, but it would have been great if there were two rubber buffers to keep the body of the guitar from touching the wall, although theoretically it doesn't touch the wall.
