Korg Nautilus 88 - Workstation synthesizer with 88 RH3 Real Weighted Hammer Action keys, the most advanced and realistic piano keyboard available from Korg. 9 unique synthesizers, each offering a different sound creation technology. To start, the enhanced SGX-2 piano sound generator provides delicate expressiveness to capture all the nuances of an acoustic piano, with velocity switching sound in 12 steps, string resonance, and many other features. The EP-1 electric piano sound generator realistically reproduces seven different famous electric piano sounds, while the CX-3 engine offers the distinct sound of classic keys equipped with tonewheels. Nautilus is also equipped with MOD-7 VPM / FM synthesizers, PolysixEX and MS-20EX for analog modelling, and STR-1 for physical modelling, thus having an engine for every type of sound you wish to obtain. When used together in Program or Combination mode, these distinct engines create completely new timbres.
NAUTILUS features a recording/sequencer section that offers both 16 MIDI tracks and 16 audio tracks, ideal for live performances as well as studio applications. The MIDI sequencer facilitates capturing ideas using the Drum Track or RPPR (Realtime Pattern Play/Recording) functions. The 16-track audio recorder captures up to four tracks of uncompressed data simultaneously at 16-bit/24-bit with a sampling rate of 48 kHz.
The synthesizer offers 16 internal effects that add colour and diversity to your creations. Each of the 12 Insert-type effects can be applied to individual or multiple timbres in a mix, to individual or multiple tracks of the sequencer. Additionally, two Master effects can be applied to Send channels 1/2, and two Total effects can be applied to all tracks in the final stage of sound.
NAUTILUS comes equipped with a wide variety of music software from Izotope, such as “Ozone Elements,” which allows you not only to create melodies but also to easily teach them using AI, “Skoove,” which will help you improve your skills, the DAW software “Reason Lite,” as well as software synthesizers from KORG and other brands.
