Audio-Technica ATW-1702 System 10, digital wireless system for photo/video cameras, includes a camera-mountable receiver and a handheld transmitter with a dynamic microphone capsule. The System 10 wireless systems operate in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, being immune to TV or DTV interference.
Specifically designed to be mounted on camcorders, easy to use for cameramen and film crews, the ATW-R1700 receiver is lightweight and features an independent channel for headphone monitoring, with the option to select the output signal mode, balanced/unbalanced, via the 3.5 mm mini jack socket. It is powered by a rechargeable internal Li-Ion battery. The system has LED battery power indicators for both the receiver and transmitter, and can be used with pocket transmitters or dynamic wireless microphones from the System 10 series. It is available in 3 variants. The system also includes an adapter for mounting on the camcorder.
