Rode NTG-2

Rode NTG-2 - Condenser shotgun microphone, lightweight, ideal for professional applications in the film, video, television, and video production industry. Equipped with a selectable high-pass filter at 80Hz, which will prevent the recording of extremely low noise, such as that found in air conditioning units and the noise of cars in traffic. 

NTG2 operates powered by a AA battery (1.5V) or via P48 phantom power that can be supplied by professional cameras, audio recorders, or external power sources. The option to power via a AA battery makes the NTG2 microphone ideal for situations where devices cannot provide phantom power, such as with DSLR cameras.

The microphone comes equipped with the WSVM windshield, which serves to reduce moderate wind noise during recording. For enhanced wind protection, the RODE DeadCat is available as an optional accessory.
