This large "Fat" brass block adds mass and support to the Floyd Rose bridge, along with the tonal qualities of brass.
It works with Floyd Rose Original, Non-Fine Tuner, 7-String*, 1000 Series*, and Special* tremolo systems.
The width is 50.15 mm and the thickness is 12.90 mm.
Brass has long been a desired material by guitar luthiers, known for enhancing warmth and clarity simultaneously.
It improves the clarity of chords and individual notes, enhancing resonance, especially in the mid-range of the instrument.
Since this block is larger than a conventional support block, it may limit upward movement of the tremolo and can be set to rest on the body in a blocked bridge configuration.
For floating bridge setup, this block may require some adjustments in the spring cavity.
The distance between the outer screw holes is 34 mm.
These blocks fit the Original 6 & 7-string series and the Special & 1000 Series 6-string.
The Special & 1000 Series 7-String tremolo systems have a different distance between the mounting holes for the sustain block than any of our other systems.
