Eve Audio SC208 is a professional studio monitor, bi-amplified with an 8" low-frequency driver and an AMT ribbon tweeter. With the 8" low-frequency driver, the SC208 offers a full response in low frequencies down to 36dB, featuring a compact design, ideal for studios of any size, whether for music or post-production. Clarity is maintained up to a maximum sound pressure level of 112dB (1m) across the entire frequency spectrum.
Innovative features are characteristic of the entire range of Eve monitors, including SilverCone drivers covered with fiberglass, Air Motion tweeters, high-performance bass ports, intuitive DSP control, and built-in protection.
The DSP is operated by a dedicated and electrically shielded microcontroller, which uses a Burr Brown A/D converter to digitize the analog input, which then directly transmits the signal to the PWM amplifiers.
The bass ports are located on the back of the monitor and have been tuned to achieve the best possible impact on low frequencies at all volume levels. To protect the tweeter, a magnetic grille is included that can be easily detached when not needed.
