Neumann TLM 170 R - is the first large diaphragm condenser microphone from Neumann, featuring 100 FET technology, transformerless, with 5 selectable directional characteristics (Omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-8) from the microphone or via the N248 power supply. 10 dB pre-attenuation and built-in low-cut filter, low noise and an impressive dynamic range. High sound pressure resistance makes this microphone ideal for recordings where the volume is high. Ideal for recording wind instruments, string instruments, piano, bass drum, guitar amplifiers. The N248 power supply controls the directional characteristics by varying the phantom power voltage.
