Have you started 2026 with a new instrument or big plans for your studio? ? Whether it's your first keyboard or you've gifted yourself that long-desired equipment, we want to hear from you!
We are launching the challenge #NewYearNewSound! We are not looking for perfection, but your enthusiasm for creating music.
✨ How to participate? Super simple:
- Record a short Reel/TikTok (10-60 sec) with your new instrument or hobby.
- Show us your setup OR play something (no matter how simple!).
- Post it with the hashtag #NewYearNewSound and tag @soundcreation.ro.
How do we choose the 6 winners?
We want to reward passion, not just technique! We decided to offer 6 different prizes, so everyone has an equal chance:
The Lucky Ones (3 winners) – We will choose 3 people through a random draw via random.org.
- Prize: A pair of JBL Tune 770 NC headphones for each! ?
Performance Prizes (3 winners) – For those who stand out:
- Community Favorite: The video with the most reactions and interactions.
- Most Creative Direction: Selected by the SoundCreation team for the most original idea.

REGULATIONS OF THE “#NewYearNewSound” CONTEST

2. DURATION AND SCOPE
The contest takes place from January 12, 2026 – February 13, 2026 (until 23:59), on Instagram and TikTok platforms, within Romania.
3. ELIGIBILITY
Any individual residing in Romania who has a public account on Instagram or TikTok can participate in this contest. Employees of the Organizer or their first-degree relatives cannot participate.
4. CONTEST MECHANISM
To register validly, participants must:
- Post a video clip (Reel or TikTok) 10-60 seconds.
- Present a new musical instrument, studio setup, or perform a short musical sequence.
- Use the official hashtag: #NewYearNewSound.
- Mention (tag) the official account: @soundcreation.ro.
- Have the profile set to Public throughout the contest duration.
5. PRIZES AND WINNER SELECTION
A total of 6 prizes will be awarded, divided into two categories:
- Category “The Lucky Ones” (3 winners)
- Category “Performance” (3 winners)
- Prize: 3 x JBL Tune 770 NC Headphones (one for each winner).
- Selection: By random draw via random.org, from all valid entries.
- Prize: 3 x SoundCreation Voucher worth 500 RON each.
- Selection criteria:
- Community Favorite: The video with the highest engagement (reactions/interactions).
- Most Creative Direction: Selected by the SoundCreation jury for originality.
- Ambition of the Year: Selected by the SoundCreation jury for the courage to start a new hobby.
6. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Winners will be announced on February 16, 2026 via the official SoundCreation Social Media pages. They will be contacted via direct message (DM) to provide delivery details.
7. RIGHTS TO USE CONTENT
By participating in this contest, participants agree that the submitted video materials may be shared (reposted) by SoundCreation on their communication channels, with credit to the author.
8. DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)
The Organizer commits to respecting the confidentiality of participants' personal data and to use it exclusively for the purpose of validating and delivering prizes.
9. DISPUTES
In case of misunderstandings, they will be resolved amicably. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not comply with the rules or who uses methods to fraudulently influence votes/interactions.
