The electronic music section of Student Fest 2012 kicks off today with an Ableton Live workshop, one of the most popular production programs used by the majority of world-renowned electronic music artists. The program contains everything you need to create/remix or mix and offers creative possibilities limited only by the imagination of the user.
It is worth mentioning that this is the first workshop of its kind in Romania, and the trainer Glenn Keteleer from Brussels, Belgium, is one of the first certified producers as an official instructor for Ableton Live.
The workshop will be at a beginner/intermediate level and will last 4 hours over 4 days, during which the 20 participants will learn to create a track step by step under the guidance of the trainer. By the end of the workshop, each participant will need to have a more or less complete track created according to their preferences.
From Monday, May 7 to Wednesday, May 9, the second electronic music workshop will take place, namely the DJ-ing workshop, yes, you got it, the guy who spins some records and makes the crowd dance, which will be held at Van Graph K-fe under the guidance of DJ K-lu and Mighty Boogie, who will teach the 20 participants how to do beatmatching, some turntablism lessons, and everything it means to be a true DJ!
