Excitement has been building in recent days for Pioneer fans and beyond. It all started with a riddle on the official website, when Pioneer_karaokekarl (Karl Detchen - Director of Product Planning & Artist Relations - North America) challenged all forum members to guess the next 2 products that would be officially presented at Winter NAMM 2006 in Anaheim.
Of course, the guesses began to flow, fueled by rumors (some said it would be a new console model, others that a cdj 1000mk3 would surely be launched, etc.....) with the common denominator being the same: everyone wanted the new cd-player model to read mp3s. Headphones, dvd players, mixers...everyone wanted something...and the waiting was driving us crazy.
The buzz was also strong in Romania, with a friend on a forum posting that "daddy" Pioneer in Romania had told him earlier about the cdj 1000mk3, and when he finds out more details, he will share them with us.
Finally, today, January 19, 2006, at 12:06 PM (USA time, I presume), the official post has arrived. Pioneer launches 2 new mixer models: djm 400 (link to topic) and djm 800 (link to topic). Since it is too early to give our opinions, the links in parentheses will take you to the official descriptions and photos.
We eagerly await the prices at which they will be sold in Romania!
