The new models of digital pianos YDP142 and YDP162 have arrived, replacing the popular YDP141 and YDP161 models.
The YDP-142 and YDP-162 pianos feature the same attractive price and Yamaha quality with a few extra functions:
- better sound engine (PureCF from the higher series instead of AWM technology)
- YDP162 has keys coated with imitation ivory (more authentic than standard plastic)
- YDP142 has doubled polyphony (64->128)
- both pianos have received emulations of authentic acoustic piano effects from the CVP series (for example: Damper Resonance)
- YDP162 is the first Yamaha digital piano in the YDP series that is also available in polished ebony (PE)
