Focusrite begins a new chapter and introduces the Clarett USB audio interface series Clarett USB, capable of competing with interfaces that cost double.
The series includes 3 models:
Clarett 2Pre USB. (10 in - 4 out)
Clarett 4Pre USB (18 in - 8 out)
Clarett 8Pre USB (18 in - 20 out)
With a dynamic range of up to 119dB, the Clarett series can be used with both Mac and PC, provided they have at least one USB 2.0 slot or newer. Now you can record with low latency even through amp simulators or effect plugins.
Additionally, the "Air-enabled" preamps can accurately reproduce the input impedance, clarity, and frequency response of the original ISA preamps.
The package also includes software from XLN Audio, Focusrite, Softube, Ableton, and Loopmasters.
The most compact of the three interfaces is the Clarett 2Pre USB, which offers 2 line, instrument, and microphone inputs as well as four line outputs, MIDI I/O, and an ADAT input.
The other series add extra inputs, S/PDIF I/O, and 2 headphone outputs with volume control.
