This list is not based on performance alone but is a realistic ranking based on practicality, emphasizing the price/quality/performance relationship.
The Clarett series was introduced by Focusrite with the aim of providing premium preamps and converters in a mid-priced interface, which they have successfully achieved. Initially available only with Thunderbolt connection, Focusrite later introduced the USB version as well.
