Focusrite has released the new version of the control software for the Saffire range of firewire audio interfaces.
Saffire Mix Control 3 brings performance and stability improvements for both Windows (XP/7 - 32/64 bit) and Mac (OS 10.6 Snow Leopard, OS 10.7 Lion), updating the driver to version 4.0.0.
This new driver version offers updated buffer settings that change according to the sample rate, better performance for those using Protools 10 software, and eliminates the need to use the Windows Legacy Firewire Driver.
