Cort G250 BK - The G Series represents a logical evolution of the term “vintage”. It is modern, yet retains the familiar characteristics of classic design with two cutaways in an aesthetically tasteful manner. This double-cutaway collection includes a wide variety of options and features to best meet the specific needs and requirements of a performer. The G250 features a humbucker configuration, a single pickup, providing a wide range of sounds to cover virtually any musical style.

Body made of Tilo wood with Maple neck and Jatoba fingerboard

This classic and proven wood combination offers a balanced and rich sound, strong in the body from the Tilo wood, with warmth from the Jatoba fingerboard and a solid punch from the Maple neck.

H-S-S pickup configuration

This popular pickup configuration with a 5-way switch offers a wide variety of sounds to cover virtually any musical style. With the middle pickups and neck alone or in combination, the tones are not only ideal for rhythmic playing but also for distinctive single-coil sounds.

Coil-Tap (Push-Pull tone knob)

The push-pull tone knob potentiometer allows the humbucker's double coils to be split into a single coil, providing a brighter and glassier sound, ideal for genres such as pop, funk, and certain styles of jazz.

Two-point tremolo

To ensure tonal stability, along with some new tonal options, the G250 is equipped with a two-point tremolo. This precision-engineered vibrato system features a steel base plate, a push arm, and ultra-smooth stainless steel saddles that are “locked” for perfect “return to zero” performance every time.

Heel joint with a tapered neck-body joint

Unlike the square heel of traditional bolt-on guitars, the heel of the G Series guitars is rounded and tapered for easier and smoother access to the frets in the higher register of the neck.

Satin finish for the neck

A clean look, along with the lack of finger drag due to the smooth satin finish means more comfort, increased speed, and improved playability.
