Yamaha DTX8K-M Real Wood - A professional electronic drum set that faithfully reproduces real drum sounds and ambience recorded in real studios around the world. It comes equipped with durable 2-ply Remo heads that offer high durability, significant noise reduction, and a feel similar to acoustic drums. The Ride cymbal features an intelligent hit point detection function, and the shells are made from wood at Yamaha factories specialized in crafting acoustic drum sets.

The DTX-PRO module offers new audio quality, with new samples recorded in a professional format. The sounds can be treated with a range of studio effects, allowing users to adapt the kit tones according to their exact needs. Drummers can also load up to 1000 of their own samples, in addition to the over 400 internal sounds.

Unique to the DTX-PRO modules are the kit modification buttons, which allow the user to instantly change the kit sound by adjusting the real room ambience samplers (not just digital reverb), kit compression, and other effects in real-time. Each channel also has EQ and Transient Adjustment, which is usually found in studio software and allows you to change the attack and decay of the sound to suit your needs.
