Yamaha DTX10K-M Real Wood - The DTX10 series is the flagship of the DTX series, combining the functionality of an electronic drum with the pure beauty of acoustic drum sets. It faithfully reproduces real drum sounds and ambient sound recorded in real rooms at world-renowned studios around the globe. It comes equipped with 2-ply Remo heads that offer a high level of durability, significant noise reduction, and a feel similar to that found on acoustic drums. The Ride cymbal features an intelligent hit point detection function, and the shells are made from birch wood at Yamaha factories specialised in crafting acoustic drum sets.
The DTX-PROX module offers a new audio quality, with new samples recorded in a professional format. The sounds can be treated with a range of studio effects, allowing users to adapt the kit tones to their exact needs. Drummers can also load up to 1000 of their own samples, in addition to the over 733 internal sounds.
Unique to the DTX-PROX modules are the kit modification buttons, which allow the user to instantly change the kit sound by adjusting the real ambient room samplers (not just digital reverb), the kit compression, and other effects in real-time. Each channel also has EQ and transient tuning, which is typically found in studio software and allows you to change the attack and decay of the sound to suit your needs.
