The MEINL Byzance Foundry Reserve collection is a limited selection of cymbals that showcase stunning, sonically rich artworks, enhanced by layers of tone and nuance; however, this is only half of the beauty, as they are visually striking due to the unique markings from the hand hammering process. The additional lathing creates many deep craters on the surface, resulting in a clear and dry stick attack over a lush bed of low undertones – otherwise known as the “rugetul”.

Medium-thin weight presents a dry attack, followed by a complex, dark wash character. They offer a strong definition of the stick, yet are thin enough to open up for loud accidents.
