Tascam DP-24SD - portable digital recorder with 24 channels on SD Card. Up to 8 tracks can be recorded simultaneously via balanced XLR or TRS inputs, while the outputs are available on unbalanced RCA or balanced TRS out. The microphone inputs feature selectable Phantom Power (+48V) in groups of 4 channels. Processing such as compression, guitar amplifier modelling, delay, reverb, and many more can be applied during recording, as well as EQ or other FXs.
For instrument inputs, the mixer also includes a guitar amplifier simulator or chorus. As with other products in the DP line, during the mastering phase, effects such as multiband compressor and normalizer can be selected. A set of 12 encoders controls EQ, sends, and panning. The master section features a colour LCD screen from which parameters such as EQ, panning, and effect sends can be accessed directly.
All audio material can be recorded at a resolution of 24 bit at 48 kHz, on solid state or SD/SDHC Card. The DP-24SD also includes a CD writer for immediate transfer of recorded material. The MIDI inputs/outputs are ideal for clocking functions or control across multiple channels. It also features a USB connection compatible with Win or Mac OSX.
