Line6 HX Effects - Guitar and bass processor that offers more than 100 HX effects, benefiting from the same audio engine as the Helix processors, HX Effects includes a complete range of Helix effects plus effects inherited from the M-Series pedals and Stompbox Modeler. All in a compact pedal that easily fits on your pedalboard. It takes the processing algorithms found in the hardware and software of the Helix series and places them for quick access via eight capacitive footswitches provided by the processor. Also included in this processor are effects inherited from the M-Series and Line 6's Stompbox Modeler effect pedals.
Like other similar Line 6 units, it features assignable rotary encoders and pedal switches, an LCD display, and LED rings with colour codes that change depending on the activated effect. You can simultaneously perform up to nine effects, editing and using them through the aforementioned controls.
It offers two different bypass options: true analog bypass or DSP bypass, which allows your effect paths to fade naturally. With 123 dB of dynamic range at your disposal, you will be able to use the digital effects offered here with great dynamism and realism.
On the back of the unit, there are a number of connectivity options, including mono/stereo inputs/outputs with 1/4" jack connectors, send and return connectors, and more. Through the 5-pin DIN connectors, you can use the HX effects with MIDI switches or as a command centre for your MIDI-controlled amplifier/pedal rig.
