Avalon V55 - Avalon DI preamplifiers have been used worldwide since 1985. They have found their way into the recording sessions of top musicians around the globe and have been featured on thousands of albums, downloads, and live performances. The V55 includes the best features of the Avalon U5 DI with two studio-quality preamplifiers and a “new sonic plus.” Two alternative solid-state topologies are cascaded to provide a rich harmonic content and low noise that is not offered by other Avalon preamplifiers. This feature empowers the V55 with a new scale of sonic character.
