Specifically designed to be mounted on camcorders, easy to use for cameramen and film crews, the ATW-R1700 receiver is lightweight and features an independent channel for headphone monitoring, with the option to select the output signal mode, balanced/unbalanced, via the 3.5 mm mini jack socket. It is powered by a rechargeable internal Li-Ion battery. The system has LED battery power indicators for both the receiver and transmitter and can be used with pocket transmitters or dynamic wireless microphones from the System 10 series. It is available in 3 variants. The system also includes a camera mounting adapter.

I'm on my third project using this wireless lavalier set. Pros: good signal even through walls, I haven't tested the range, but at about 30m it worked perfectly through walls. The battery in the receiver lasts a long time. Monitoring the transmitter's batteries from the receiver is very useful. Cons: Occasionally (every few minutes) there's a short 'click' sound, possibly when it switches to the backup frequency, quite unpleasant. Background noise is present, but within normal limits... I don't know if it's generated by the microphone or the transmitter, receiver. The transmitter seems a bit large, but you can live with that. Conclusion, an okay product, I recommend it for amateur and semi-professional users. I do NOT recommend it for professionals and those with very serious projects because of that short 'click' noise that appears every few minutes and is annoying; it's not a cheap system and I believe this issue shouldn't exist at this budget.
