With the model TURN 5, Reloop HiFi launches a turntable with direct drive controlled by quartz, designed for the most demanding audio requirements. Using its accumulated experience, Reloop has developed a new HiFi turntable that, through its technical refinement, ranks among the most high-performing in its class.
The DC brushless direct drive motor provides strong torque and extremely stable rotation. The TURN 5 is constructed using precision manufacturing techniques through pressure casting. The rubber damping base eliminates unwanted resonances, while the special 5 mm rubber mat reduces vibrations for exceptional sound reproduction.
The TURN 5 utilises a static balanced S-shaped arm. It features a hydraulic lift, anti-skating adjustment, and height adjustment with VTA lock, for optimal performance and precise reproduction of recordings. The included Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is already mounted on the headshell and offers impressive sound quality due to its elliptical stylus. The universal SME mechanism allows for quick headshell changes, and the included counterweight supports a wide range of cartridges, including heavier models.
At the back, there are gold-plated RCA phono outputs and a separate grounding connection to reduce interference. The terminals are recessed for additional protection, and the RCA and power cables are detachable for easy replacement. The chassis is built on a solid metal structure, equipped with anti-vibration feet to reduce noise and provide efficient isolation. The combination of materials offers additional rigidity to the entire construction.
