Pros.
1. The instrument is very suitable if you want to practice, because you can connect headphones and adjust the sound volume, you can practice anywhere without disturbing anyone,
2. The variety of sounds offered is quite a lot and pleasant,
3. Thanks to the app that can be downloaded from the Appstore or Google Play, the instrument settings can be modified from this app, the sounds, the type of instrument (Alto, Soprano, Tenor, Baritone, Clarinet, Flute), if you are left-handed you can change it from the app, the notes on the instrument can be configured as you wish, depending on your needs,
4. The quality of the materials is good, the response time of the keys is good, this can also be modified from the app,
Cons.
1. One inconvenient aspect is that it does not have a built-in battery, the instrument runs on AAA R3 batteries (it needs 4 pieces, it discharges in about 2-3 hours of use) or with a continuous connection to a power source (external battery, directly into the socket)
2. An unpleasant aspect is the mouthpiece, after 2 hours of receiving the package and testing the instrument, the upper part of the mouthpiece where the teeth go started to scratch and the paint came off, there is an option to stick a protection before use but considering it’s a Yamaha, I didn’t think that after just 2 hours there would be signs on the mouthpiece, also related to the mouthpiece is the fact that the embouchure is almost non-existent, you can hardly do vibrato,
In conclusion, it is an excellent instrument for practicing, especially for beginners.
