Presonus StudioLive 16R - rack/stage box mixer with 16 channels that occupies one rack unit, designed to serve as a simple stage box, rack mixer, or as a combination of stage box and monitoring mixer. It is equipped for AVB networking, allowing it to be connected to another Series III mixer via a single CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable, thus eliminating the use of heavy and expensive snake cables or signal degradation due to long cables. All on-board XMAX microphone preamps can be controlled remotely. It offers professional-quality sound, thanks to the built-in Series III processors and the 3rd generation Fat Channel, which implements a plug-in-style workflow, providing vintage-style EQ and compression options for each channel, from classic tube limiters to passive EQs. In addition to channel processing, the StudioLive 16R offers a complete 6-band parametric EQ for all mix outputs. It features 6 FlexMixes, which can be individually assigned as auxiliaries, subgroups, or matrix mixes, while 8 DCA filters provide easy control over channel groups.
StudioLive 16R has 16 inputs with combo XLR-1/4" connectors for microphone/line, and an additional pair of stereo RCA auxiliary inputs for flexibility. The 6 FlexMix outputs are equipped with 1/4" TRS jack connectors, while the main outputs are equipped with balanced XLR connectors. It also includes a built-in SD card recorder, allowing you to quickly and easily record the main mix or any other stereo mix without the need for a computer. Furthermore, it offers the possibility of multi-track recording to a laptop via USB or AVB and stereo recording to SD.
It comes with an integrated software package that includes Studio One Artist, UC Surface, and Capture. Studio One Artist is a DAW specifically designed for recording, mixing, and playback of audio files, and provides remote control for the XMAX preamps and Fat Channel processing. UC Surface offers touch control for Mac, Windows, Android, and iPad, allowing wireless control of the mixer from anywhere in the room, while Capture allows you to create sound checks and automatic virtual recordings. Additionally, the included StudioMagic plug-in suite offers a multitude of contemporary sounds and effects from companies such as Eventide, Lexicon, SPL, MAAG, Brainworks, and Arturia. It comes with a USB cable and power cable.
