Adam Hall 3 STAR B WMIDI 0150 - In MIDI signal transmission, only three pins are used with the classic 5-pin connectors. Therefore, the idea arose to equip these devices with less sensitive TRS (balanced) connectors, as three pins can also be used here. To connect devices with conventional 5-pin MIDI connectors to the new devices with jack plugs, we now have adapter cables with 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm jack plugs. The MIDI Association has defined the new TRS/MIDI Type A standard, which we of course adhere to.
