Solvent-based adhesive made from SBS rubber, with the addition of synthetic resin and modifying agents.
APPLICATION:
Designed for the furniture industry for bonding: polyurethane foam, polyester foam, satin fabric, felt, jute, upholstery rubber, carpets and other upholstery materials on metal, concrete, raw wood and varnished wood, as well as wood-based materials. It is also used for bonding polystyrene.
To achieve the strongest effect, we recommend applying the adhesive surfaces as follows: on a wall, apply horizontal stripes and on the panel, apply vertical stripes. This technique activates the adhesive cells and allows for a very strong bond.
FEATURES:
- dries quickly;
- has a short open time;
- does not chemically interact with the bonding surfaces;
- easy to use;
- capacity of 500 ml.
APPLICATION METHODS
- Prepare the surface, ensuring that both surfaces are clean, dry, free of dust, dirt and grease. If necessary, rinse the surface with the recommended solvent-based cleaning agent, but wait until the solvent evaporates. DO NOT USE SPIRIT, DENATURED ETHYL ALCOHOL OR CITRUS. Do not touch the cleaned surfaces.
- Apply a uniform and thin layer of adhesive. The adhesive should be applied from a distance of 10-25 cm from the surface, so that the layers overlap by 50-70%, reducing the risk of excess adhesive on the bonded surfaces (note - ensure that the appropriate layer has been applied).
- It is necessary to maintain a constant speed when applying the adhesive, so that excess adhesive does not accumulate in certain areas on the surface. To achieve a good bond, approximately 80-100% of the surface must be covered (approx 20 g/m²).
- It is recommended to use one tube for approximately 10 - 15 square meters.
- The best adhesion is obtained when the surfaces are joined at a 90° angle to each other. It is recommended to double the applied layer on the edges of the surface.
ADHESIVE USAGE MANUAL:
- Application temperature (including adhesive temperature, bonded elements, environment): 18°-25° C;
- The bonded surfaces must be dry and clean beforehand;
- The container must be shaken well before spraying;
- Apply the adhesive evenly on the surface of both elements to be bonded, wait at least 2 minutes (for solvent evaporation) and then combine the elements together before the adhesive hardens (15 minutes) and then press them well;
- Once the elements have been bonded, it will no longer be possible to make corrections. Do not expose the bonded materials to high temperatures before reaching the maximum adhesive strength.
- The adhesive reaches maximum strength after 48 hours.
