I generalize for all whistles generation, a.k.a. gewa flageolet, the quality is inconsistent. Some can sound too shrill on high notes, some can be tuned worse.
That said, some are exceptional with a classic and very pleasant sound, very easy to play. Overall, it's very good for beginners, although the good ones are also used by professionals.
Given how cheap they are, you can buy 3 or 4, with a good chance that one of them will be really good, worth the money for 4.
There is a tendency for the good ones to be in the C (Do) or Bb (Si bemol) range. Higher ranges, D, Eb tend to be more unbearable on high notes. The F and G ranges should be avoided, they are horrible. A good alternative to the D (Re) range is Clarke sweetone (not original).
The flutes are from the home or school range. Don't expect extraordinary performance. Obviously, you can't compare a flute that costs 8 euros with one that costs 200 euros. It's an exceptional instrument for kids, they can discover the charm of playing the flute, and later move on to a more sophisticated flute. It's metal, it only breaks if you insist.
The instrument is very high quality, the sound is very pleasant, the price is very good in relation to the quality, and the staff deserves a 25. I recommend it with full confidence.
