And now for something completely different: Bluesbucker® looks like a standard humbucker but sounds like a P90 and cancels 60-cycle noise as effectively as a regular humbucker. This means that any guitar with a standard-sized humbucker can now have the sound of a P90 without modifying the guitar in any way and without noise. The patented Virtual Vintage® and Airbucker™ technology allows Bluesbucker® to "see" a narrow window of the strings like a true single-coil, making it extremely sensitive to the dynamics of playing. When a pair of these pickups are turned on together, they achieve the open, slightly hollow sound produced by two single coils. Splitting the pickup produces a sound similar to that of a Strat® pickup, with very little drop in output.
