YSL-882 O 03 - The tenor trombone features a large bore brass bell, handcrafted, providing a powerful sound and high clarity. The F-attachment section offers an easy blowing response, and the entire instrument has note equality and excellent balance. The tone is flexible with numerous tonal colours, offering both strong projection at fortissimo and subtle control in the most delicate passages.

Compact F attachment:

The compact wrap helps produce a rich and brilliant tone.

One-piece hand-hammered bell:

A one-piece bell has an axial seam (along the length), making it a continuous extension of the instrument's material. This results in pure and even resonance and superior tone. Additionally, a hand-hammered bell maximizes the trombone's tone and projection.

Larger bell:

The bell has a diameter of 220 mm (8 2/3 "). The larger bell, combined with other design enhancements, produces an open, colourful sound.

Narrow slide:

Having a narrow slide results in a faster slide technique, allowing you to move more easily.

Adjustable thumb paddle:

The thumb paddle is adjustable, providing optimal comfort.

Counterweight: 

The addition of a counterweight contributes to the focused and clear sound of the trombone.

Mechanical linkage:

The use of a mechanical linkage on a rotor provides a strong response and smooth action.
