Both the neck and bridge D Activator™ pickups are designed to eliminate the sterile weakness typically associated with active pickups. The D Activator™ Bridge pickup is approximately 25% louder than the D Activator™ Neck. Since we developed both pickups as a set from scratch, we adjusted the volume levels of the pickups so that they are balanced. This way, when you switch from neck to bridge, you won't hear a drop in volume - also a common issue with active pickups - and they do not use batteries.
