Good for beginners

It's a good instrument for beginners and very easy to transport. But you need to consider:

- This West African instrument is one you want to play with sounds used in traditional West African music, so the instrument should be adult-sized. This drum is child-sized. It doesn't sound bad, but if your goal is to play Western African music, then an instrument with a diameter of at least 30 cm is recommended, not the 25 cm that's written here. But if you just want to play for fun, then it's okay.

- But this leads to another point: This drum, at least the specimen we bought, is not 25 cm but only 23.
