The MEINL Byzance Foundry Reserve collection is a limited selection of cymbals that showcase stunning, rich sonic artworks, with layers of tone and nuance; however, this is only half of the beauty, as they are visually striking from the unique marks of the hand hammering, producing a clear and dry attack note over a lush bed of low undertones – otherwise known as 'ripped'. The additional lathing creates many deep craters on the surface.

It features an extensive surface with hand hammering and a fully lathed surface. Medium weight, full-bodied sound, with a dark and explosive response that decays quickly.
