Larger jog wheels: The larger the jog wheels, the better it is for scratching. The jog wheels on the DDJ-REV1 are the same size as those on the DDJ-SR2.
FX Switch: Pull the levers down and hold them down to apply effects from Serato DJ Lite for short periods or push them up to lock the effects and free your hands for scratching or navigating through tracks.
Tracking Scratch: The Tracking Scratch function silently brings the music back to the cue point when you move the jog wheel backwards or lift your hand.
All you need to do is select the Tracking Scratch Pad mode, press a Performance Pad to choose the Scratch Crossfader Cuts pattern you want to use, then start moving the jog wheel.
Once you have downloaded the free Serato DJ Lite on your PC/Mac, you can simply connect the DDJ-REV1 using the supplied USB cable.
With the Scratch Bank pad mode, you can instantly load scratching samples from 4 banks that you have allocated in Serato DJ Lite or Pro, by simply pressing the dedicated Scratch Bank button.
