Electro Voice RE420 - Professional vocal condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern. Designed to reveal exceptional details, high sound clarity, and the necessary elements for expressive live performances. The sound characteristic is rich and detailed with a warm and clear low-end, natural and present midrange, and an open and detailed high-end. The cardioid polar pattern ensures excellent acoustic isolation and maximum feedback rejection occurs when a stage monitor is positioned at 180° off-axis from the element. 

The multi-stage pop filter consists of two layers of dense foam separated by air, which attenuates the wind velocity caused by breathing and various factors. The integrated high-pass filter has two positions: the Flat position, which offers the full frequency range of the capsule, and the high-pass position, which attenuates frequencies below 150 Hz.

The integrated shock mount easily isolates the microphone element from vibrations and protects against handling noise.
