Empirical Labs Distressor EL-8X, a mono-channel compressor with added British flavour, offers the "all-buttons-in" feature from the classic LN1176 thanks to an onboard British switch. Although the Distressor can operate very subtly and transparently, by adding the British mode, it will have a very noticeable British character.
