Both the build quality of the headphones and the sound are great. I have nothing to compare it to, but I can say that the sound accuracy is almost on par with studio monitor speakers. It might have a bit more bass, but that's fine. I think for an amateur home studio, there's no need for something more expensive. I'm satisfied.
