Ortofon Concorde Mix Mk2 - Premium system with a moving magnet.
The Ortofon Concorde transports probably need no introduction for most DJs. They have been available on the market since the 1980s, and now they come in a new version. The Concorde MKII features a replaceable cartridge, a wider body for greater stability when performing live, touch feedback when placing the record on the turntable, or a distinctive cut on the front that allows for precise placement of the stylus in the groove.
This cartridge designed for general use offers exceptional performance and high durability, has a spherical stylus, transparent sound across the spectrum, and excellent maneuverability. The new Concorde Mk2 cartridges now come in a modular form, allowing you to replace the stylus without having to change the entire cartridge.
I got this cartridge for a Technics 1610mk2 - not being rated as an audiophile cartridge but dedicated to the DJ segment, I was hesitant, but I can say it sounds excellent at 3g tracking force, you can't complain! From my point of view, it's not worth paying the price difference for a Nagaoka or Audio-Technica - this Ortofon sounds exemplary on the pop-rock I listen to. Skipping is out of the question. I warmly recommend it, it's worth every penny of the 360-something lei it cost.
