The Meinl Artisan Edition cajons are handcrafted in Spain under the supervision of master instrument maker Jose Hernandez Diaz. The craftsmanship results in a percussion instrument that offers the player more than what they put into it; the sound and refined feel speak for themselves!
Meticulous and detailed care has been taken to select the best wood combinations, sculpt the playing surface and body, and manually tension the internal metal strings to create a sensitive and unparalleled snare effect.
