Adam Hall 3 STAR B VMIDI 0300 - In MIDI signal transmission, only three poles are used with the classic 5-pin connectors. Therefore, the idea was born to equip these devices with less sensitive TRS (balanced) connectors, as three poles can also be used here. To connect devices with conventional 5-pin MIDI connectors to the new devices with jack connectors, we now have adapter cables with 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm jack connectors. The MIDI Association has defined the new TRS/MIDI Type A standard, which we of course adhere to.
