Gliga 4/4 Gliga (maestru) – The 4/4 acoustic violin, handcrafted, features a top made from the finest quality resonance spruce from the Carpathian Mountains, while the back, ribs, and neck are made from carefully selected curly maple, with an inlaid purfling on both the top and back, ensuring both the body’s durability and preventing cracks along the grain. The back is made of 2 pieces, and the ebony ring is perfectly integrated into the body of the instrument, providing both robustness and adding a note of distinction and elegance, setting it apart from other quality instruments. A distinctive feature is the deep scroll and unique shape of the “f” holes. The fine details and precise craftsmanship make these instruments appealing to professional musicians.

The entire varnishing process is done by hand, using oil varnish, finished in various shades from yellow to dark, antique colours. The Maestru Gliga instruments have the highest quality accessories (pegs, fingerboard, tailpiece, chin rest, endpin) made from ebony, suitable for the finish.
