LTD Alexi Ripped Sawtooth

Capturing the essence of one of the most beloved and influential figures in metal music worldwide, the LTD Alexi Ripped is among the last guitars designed by Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight leader Alexi Laiho. The LTD Alexi Ripped features an offset V shape, with a neck-through-body construction at a scale length of 25.5 inches. It boasts a thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck with a natural satin finish for smooth and fast playability, alder body wings, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard (tapered from frets 19-24) with 24 extra-jumbo frets, sawtooth inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers. The Alexi Ripped model is the first guitar in the Alexi Laiho Signature Series to feature more than one pickup. It includes a passive EMG HZ F-H2 humbucker in the bridge position for high gain presence and clarity, with a strong response, as well as a passive stacked single coil EMG HZ S2 in the neck, providing the right mix of mids with a clear and full low-end. Components of this remarkable guitar include Grover tuners, a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking bridge, and chrome hardware, including a volume control and a three-way pickup selector. Available in a Purple Fade Satin finish with painted black satin “ripped” stripes, with matching back and sides. Includes a luxury ESP hard case.
