The selectable transmission power of up to 30 mW gives the U500® instrument set a free range of over 100 meters. They are available in three frequency bands: 584 - 608 MHz and 655 - 679 MHz, where 12 systems can be operated simultaneously, and 823 - 832 MHz + 863 - 865 MHz, where six systems can be operated at the same time. Even the lowest bass notes are transmitted clearly, thanks to the frequency response that extends down to 30 Hz.
The U500® True Diversity UHF wireless systems feature an automatic scanning facility to find the best available frequency and convenient one-touch infrared synchronization between the transmitter and receiver for easy setup. The high-contrast OLED displays provide an excellent overview of functions, with indicators for group, channel, radio frequency, and signal strength or battery status. You can even enter individual user names. Along with the squelch function, the silent pilot tone of the Bodypack ensures safe operation. It protects against interference and disables the receiver if signals without this tone are present. The efficient U500® technology and high-quality components ensure clear transmission without distortion and without latency. Low power consumption means that the transmitter can operate for up to 10 hours with 2 AA batteries.
The vocal sets from the U500® series are available with portable transmitters, headsets, lavalier microphones, and single or dual receivers. The portable transmitters feature interchangeable microphone capsules to suit singing or speaking.
