TASCAM TA-1VP is a vocal processor developed together with Antares Audio Technologies that offers a modern and refined sound. The TA-1VP processor is rack-mountable and includes a microphone preamp, compressor, de-esser, microphone & tube modeller, and renowned pitch correction from Antares. This processor is ideal for live applications, places of worship, or studios.
On the front panel, the TA-1VP is equipped with a high-quality microphone input with phantom power for condenser microphones. Processing control is easily achieved through dedicated button blocks and VU meters. Antares microphone and tube modelling modifies the input signal and gives it the character of another microphone from a selectable library. The de-essing module removes sibilance from the signal before applying compression or gating, and as a final element in the chain, the TA-1VP is also equipped with a high-quality digital EQ.
The auto-tuning module (Auto-Tune) can be adjusted to any pitch correction level in user-selectable scales. All adjustments can be reloaded via stored presets controlled from the front panel or via MIDI. On the rear panel, there are balanced TRS inputs and outputs, including a Double Track Out for simulating doubled vocals. Additionally, the TA-1VP processor is equipped with a digital S/PDIF output.
