Neumann KM 183 A nx - condenser studio microphone with omnidirectional pattern, featuring transformerless circuitry, composed of the omnidirectional capsule KK 183 and the KM A amplifier. The capsule can have 8 directional characteristics (KK 120 - figure of 8, KK 131 - Omni (pressure equalized transducer in free field), KK 133 - Omni (pressure equalized transducer in diffuse field/titanium diaphragm capsule with exceptional acoustic properties), KK 183 - Omni (pressure equalized transducer in diffuse field), KK 143 - wide-angle cardioid, KK 145 - Cardioid with low-cut acoustic filter in open field, KK 184 - Cardioid, KK 185 - Hypercardioid), and can be modularly combined with the analog amplifier KM A or digital KM D, in accordance with AES 42 standard.

These capsules with a miniature design and a wide range of accessories allow for excellent adaptation of the microphone to a wide variety of applications. Thanks to the state-of-the-art components and technology used, this microphone has low noise, a wide dynamic range, and increased immunity to electromagnetic interference.
