Precise sound, easy to drive.

Even though they are studio headphones, I got them for listening to music and for isolation. Although they are easy to drive at 32 ohms, they sound better with a DAC or an external sound card if you're listening to music from a computer/phone; otherwise, you won't fully exploit them. I've used them with a Creative Soundblaster, an external card, as well as with a Fiio E10K DAC. The Fiio is more precise, while the Soundblaster is more hi-fi. They sound good with both, just differently. Don't plug them directly into your computer, as you won't be impressed, no matter what integrated sound card you have. With headphones like these, the difference is noticeable. The sound is very clear, good isolation, better than any mainstream headphones, regardless of price. They have a flat sound, the bass might be unimpressive at first, and the highs might be too harsh. You can use an equalizer, like Equalizer APO, to adjust them to your liking. You can listen to any kind of music, the bass is very clear if they are connected to the right equipment; otherwise, it can sound dull and unclear. The sound improves after listening for a while. I recommend them with confidence.
