the bench is for two people but it's extremely comfortable for one person. the construction is solid, and the materials are of high quality. the lifting system is very sturdy with smooth movements and even when raised to the maximum, it is very stable. the material covering the bench is pleasant to the touch and of good quality, and the storage space under the bench is sufficient for sheet music. a good product that I can recommend.
